Sporting RI has been disqualified by NELASA for not showing up for scheduled games.
Disciplinary committee found that Sporting failed to comply with the By Laws and were not happy when the league's President Narcisa Araujo allowed the team to continue in the competitions even after the facts. After a schedule meeting the President and the DC came to an agreement and Sporting now joins Safira and Spiga Midju as the teams to be disqualified this season after failing to comply with the league's By Laws article 444.02 and 444.03

FYI, SPIGA MIDJU WAS THE FIRST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE THAT SIGNED ITS PLAYERS, PAID ALL THE DUES. ALIANCA WAS SECOND.
ReplyDeleteBECAUSE ANDRADE WAS THE FOUNDER OF EMIGRANTES (ONCE CALLED "OS VULCANICOS"), BIBI GOT JEALOUS AND HAD TO PRESCRIBE A BAD MEDICINE TO SPIGA MIDJU AND DECLARED THAT THE PLAYERS WERE NOT SIGNED.
GET ALL THE FACTS STRAIGHT. BECAUSE OF BIBI'S ATTITUDE AND PREJUDICE AGAINST SAFIRA F.C. (NONE OF THEIR PLAYER MADE IT TO NELASA ALLSTAR!) AND SPORTING ALIKE, MANY TEAMS HAVE NO INTEREST IN PLAYING IN THE NELASA LEAGUE ANYMORE.
BEST SOLUTION: GIVE THIS LEAGUE BACK TO THE PORTUGUESE AND TEAMS WILL DECIDE ON THEIR OWN WEHERE TO GO.
LACK OF LEADERSHIP AND VISION IS OBVIOUS.
