There are 15 teams Cape Verdean teams now playing in 2010 Nelasa season
And 14 last season 16 the year before. Now the real question is! “Is it better for the league to cut down on the numbers of team?” I personally thing it is, fifteen teams between Boston, Brockton and Providence R.I are just too many for the league to handle we have seen it year after year. Also every season the last place teams don’t show up to a game when there is only two or three games left on the schedule and that is not right the league should look into that and take stronger actions against those teams. I also think the competition will be superior more talented players playing together the league will have more teams that are able to compete in other stages like MASS Cup.

Also do to weather condition here in New England fans like to see the game in wormer weather. The season is to long because there is a lot of team and more games needs to be played. I think a reasonable number of teams for a league like NELASA are 10.
