In a recent trip to the Cabo Verde Sporting R.I Coach Tiago Monteiro, told futebolcriolo.com that he had a vision to showcase Capeverdean soccer payers in US to soccer Clubs in Cabo Verde. They are a lot of young talented Cape-Verdean players here in the US playing in NELASA that is worthy of an opportunity to be seen by professionals team in Cabo Verde said Tiago who received an invitation to put together a group of young talented players to bring to Cabo Verde to play a friendly game vs. Boavista in Praia. In a meeting Saturday Jan. 22 in RI Tiago said that this project is going to require a lot of sacrifice on his part and the group of guys his putting together but its one worth making for a better future of Cape Verdean soccer and the youths that reside abroad. The trip to Cabo Verde is schedule sometime in April and Taigo is already working to put together the team and personnel.
